A haven of good food, good wine and good music in the trendy Devonshire Quarter, Casablancas is a great place to spend an evening. Decorated with old movie still and 40s film stars, the atmosphere is mellow and relaxed. A good bottle of wine will only cost you £10, and a main meal around £6. There are a good range of meals on the menu, as well as a daily specials board to choose from. Most evenings see live jazz acts after 9.30, and there is always jazz playing in the background, so it's probably not the place for you if you can't stand jazz. Casablanca is definitely a place to spend an evening, whether for a meal or just a drink. The relaxed atmosphere will keep you there till closing time.
